FIBER EVERYTHING

My work explores the balance between extremes, both in art and in life. Whether seeking out materials to repurpose, contrasting natural and synthetic yarns and thinking beyond the frame, the woven world is the portal through which I look at life’s outer limits and seek to find the middle path between them. In my practice I activate the juxtapositions between structure and freedom, natural versus synthetic and solitude versus collaboration. In doing so, I hope to highlight places of connection.
